| This
ancient monument enjoys the great antiquity of ten centuries
and is made of stone and mortar. Since the appearance
of the qanat and the farming lands are separated by
a canyon, this bridge facilitates the water transmission
process. |
| Gradual
water seepage through the bridge brought about the collapse
of the ceiling which has recently been restored by improvising
a canal syphon made of stone, mortar and ceramic along
the passage for water conveyance process. (the remains
of the monument indicate that the syphon had once been
30 meters long). Regretfully, a distructive flood damaged
the syphon and ruined a portion of the bridge wall which
set the authorities to rehabilitating the structure
applying a resistant brick being used at the time being.
